Edward Stokes’ career as a photographer and writer, and later as a publisher and curator, has seen many physical journeys. Underlying them all has been his own creative journey, a story reflecting people and places – changes and history.
From the start, Edward’s books and exhibitions visualized history or nature through photos with integrated texts – thus forming photographic stories. Since 2008 he has been the Founder and Publisher for The Photographic Heritage Foundation. The organization seeks out, and brings to life, little-known or forgotten Asian historical photos.
